Movevitesseriviera

(Person's name removed on request) used to operate as Movevitesse, then as Movevitesse Riviera and then most recently, World Wide Transport Storage Limited.  He advertised himself as an international relocator with good value storage facilities in France, and his web site gave the impression that he was a member of the British Association of Removers. I arranged for him to move my goods into his storage facilities and then to ship them overseas. He had in storage the contents of our 5 bedroom house, a two bedroom apartment and brand new furniture from a show flat in addition to all of our clothes, electrical goods, kitchenware, etc, etc; literally everything we owned including a lifetimes worth of photos, children's drawings and school work.  The financial cost to us was huge as was the cost to us of every irreplaceable and meaningful possession we owned! I paid him the initial removal costs, and a few months storage costs up front and then a further 8000 euro to ship the goods.  At this point, he stopped answering emails and ignored any contact and I now have no doubt in my mind that he has disposed of our goods and pocketed the proceeds. It has taken me an entire year to get to the point that my barrister is about to commence proceedings against him, and I am sick with anxiety that he has put himself in the position that he cannot repay me. Please do not go anywhere this horrible thief and his equally horrible thieving wife!  He has had the same effect on us as having a house fire which devastates everything you own and leaves you with nothing.  .
